Regrets

Are the worst! Since moving to NYC Nate and I have had a chance to spend lots of quality time together. Lots. When we were living in Spfd. it was a rare night when it was just the two of us and although I will miss the birthday parties, showers and dinners, it’s nice to feel like newlyweds. But…there is such a thing as too much quality time. I think the hubby and I have become too attached at the hip. Where he goes, I go and vise versa. We were even walking down the hall with each other to change the laundry. So we decided that we would spread our independent wings and do the occasional chore by ourselves. For example, going to the grocery store. I was on my way to the market and asked my beloved if he would like to join. After carefully weighing his options he regretfully stayed home to finish some paperwork he had been putting off all week and shooed me out for some “me” time. Now if there is one thing that I have and will always say that I miss about living in Missouri is that anyone will chat it up with you in the line or aisle at the grocery store. Low and behold I found someone to listen to me ramble about and it was non-other than MCA from the Beastie Boys. The paperwork could have waited one more day.
