Slowly, but surely, we'll try and write about the place we've been checking out around the city. Spotlight Live is this great karaoke bar in Times Square (a place that I would normally avoid like a pair of tevas) and so fun, especially for a girls night. There's even a screen outside that will broadcast your performance live. It sounds terrifying, I know, because I'm tusually about a six pack and 3 tequila shots in before I'm even thinking about karaoke and that typically will only involve a skanky dive bar and a few of us screaming "Like a Virgin." This place not only looks swanky, but people can vote on their favorites and text to other tables. No worries though, our girls performance was so MTV worthy thanks to the back-up singers and dancers. Seriously, this place really does make you feel like a rock star.
