We were able to ring in the new year in our hometown of Springfield, MO with our amazing friends and family. A bitchin’ NYE party and Matty’s 30th equaled incredibly good times, while the rest were spent with family-including our adorable niece and nephew. A canceled flight led to an unexpected detour in Columbia to see Tory and visit Jona and Ryan’s beautiful new baby, Ryder. He is perfection and I am completely in love. How I have missed my family’s cooking. Included are photos of a proper gravy lesson with my mom and Mimi, as well as a typical Midwestern breakfast at my grandparents.
