Yankers

Nate and I went to the Royals vs. Yankee’s game last Saturday. I think that somehow the Poor God’s were smiling upon us that day because the Upper Deck, a.k.a. Cheap Bastards Seats were some of the only ones in the shade that day. Lucky us, because it was as hot as blue blazes, as my mama would say. It was a blast too! The Royals started in their usual fashion down 4-0 in the first inning, but managed to tie it later in the game. Despite their best efforts, they lost. Nate and I had no shame and cheered proudly for our team and made every effort to represent. And about New Yorkers being really nice…this does not apply to their baseball fans.
