First Date and Just Another Day on the 6 Train

I really enjoy riding the subway and for those who know my track record on the road, it's really just better for everyone. Riding the subway on a weekday is surprisingly peaceful, people coming to and from work, quietly keeping to themselves. Tonight was unlike any other, I'm minding my own business standing up and leaning against a row of seats, when the young man sitting beside me starts ferociously flipping through his magazines, ripping the pages out and flinging them to the ground. Mind you, this guy looks like he could have been someone we would hang out with or perhaps one of Nate's fraternity brothers, he just happen to be violently throwing around the pages of his computer magazine. I then catch him looking down at my legs and shoes and then up at me, while I, of course, have my eyes fixed on the ground. He repeats this a few times and when I was convinced that this litterbug was going to punch me in the face or stomp my feet, he stared up and me and it went a lil something like this;

Litterbug: "Hey."

Me: "Yea?"

Litterbug: "Wanna go to the movies this weekend?"

Me: "Um no, thanks for asking."

Litterbug "Cool."

And then the train pulls up to my stop and I walk off.
